Roofing

Your home's first line of defense, built to take Virginia weather.

Your roof is your home's first line of defense, and the one repair you can't put off. We install new roofs, replace worn ones, and handle repairs from a few wind-lifted shingles to storm damage, with clean workmanship and a jobsite left spotless.

Virginia roofs take it all: nor'easter rain, summer thunderstorms, the occasional ice storm, and heat that cooks cheap shingles from the inside. A roof that lasts here comes down to the details, proper underlayment and ice barrier, correct nailing, flashing done in metal (not caulk), and ventilation that lets the attic breathe so shingles don't bake from below.

Whether it's a leak chase, a repair after a storm, or a full tear-off and replacement, we'll inspect honestly and tell you what the roof actually needs. Plenty of 'you need a new roof' calls end with us fixing flashing for a fraction of the price, and when you do need a replacement, we'll do it right the first time.

What Our Roofing Work Covers

If it is not on the list, ask. It is usually something we handle.

Full roof replacement

Tear-off to ridge cap: new underlayment, ice & water shield, flashing, and shingles.

Roof repairs

Leaks, missing shingles, storm and wind damage, found and fixed at the source.

New construction roofing

Roofs for additions, garages, sheds, and new builds.

Flashing & valleys

Chimneys, walls, and valleys flashed in metal, where most leaks actually start.

Ventilation & ridge vents

Attic airflow corrected so your shingles, and your energy bill, last longer.

Gutters & drip edge

The roof edge finished properly so water goes in the gutter, not behind the fascia.

How Every Project Runs

The same simple process whether it is a chimney cap or a full driveway.

We come out, look at the project with you, and give you a free, no-pressure estimate with a straight price.

  2. Prep It Right

The unglamorous part that decides everything: demolition, grading, base work, and protection for the areas we are not touching.

  3. Build It Strong

Quality materials installed the correct way, with the prep and details that make the work last.

  4. Leave It Clean

Full cleanup, a final walkthrough with you, and clear guidance on care. We are not done until you are happy.

Common Questions

How do I know if I need repair or replacement?

Age, extent of damage, and how many layers are on the roof. One damaged area on a 10-year-old roof is a repair; widespread granule loss and curling on a 20-year-old roof is a replacement. We'll show you photos of what we find either way.

Do you help with storm damage?

Yes, we document the damage with photos, make the repair or replacement, and give you the records you need for your claim.

How long does a roof replacement take?

Most homes are done in 1-2 days, weather permitting, including cleanup with a magnetic sweep for nails.
